Nawaz Sharif advisor Irfan Siddiqui captured in Islamabad




Irfan Siddiqui, former advisor to former leader Nawaz Sharif, was captured Saturday in Islamabad.



He was captured during an attack on his house for failing to inform the police that he rented his house under the Occupation Act.



According to the police, he had been captured under Article 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for failing to inform the important police headquarters that had rented his house. Under this law, all homeowners must light the police headquarters close to the intricacies of their occupants.



Siddiqui was transferred to the Crime Investigation Agency's police headquarters after being detained at the Ramna police headquarters in Islamabad.
